His eyes meet Frog's, thinking on it further... this could also be a look into Ken's abilities, couldn't it? This isn't a normal injury, which may provide additional insight...
"If it will provide any sort of insight into what we'll be facing, then please feel free to tend to it."
"Come on, then." He comes around the counter, still in his green apron, beckoning Dove outside into the alley. In the shafts of sunlight through the trees, he takes a closer look.
"Who did this splint? Is it set well?" Though Frog has an idea it ought to be in plaster. How complex is this fracture, even? There are a lot of ways something like this could go wrong.
The splint seems to be set, at the very least. The arm's break doesn't seem to be clean though, and upon taking a closer look, it seems like his arm was gripped and crushed, rather than even being twisted.
"Akira-- Spades was the one that prepared the splint for me. He did very well, at least from my perspective. Though admittedly my understanding of injuries such as these are limited..."
Ah yes, injuries like these are a rather notable rarity back in his world. No one would want a deep, serious pain like breaking an arm and the inconvenience it would bring.
It's difficult to tell very much, just from looking, through the splint and through Dove's shirt. But then, that's not really why they're here. Despite what Drake might say, Frog doesn't have magical healing powers, in anything but the normal sense.
"Well, let's see if I can touch it." He steps back, producing the red Evoker from behind his back, and putting it to his head, face set. "Cybele!"
She erupts behind him, incongruous in the sunny streets of Yongen, striped in deep blue with horns and swords. The cool green light of Diarahan washes over Dove.
Dove watches as Frog uses the Evoker, his mind flashing back to when Makoto used it during their time in Tartarus. He goes slightly pale, his mind reaching towards something he once again can't remember as the green light slowly begins surrounding him.
He blinks, slowly returning to reality as the gentleness flows through him. Though he feels it, and it does relieve some of the soreness in his arm... it still seems to remain broken.
"...I still can't move it, unfortunately. That said... it feels less painful now."
That's remarkable. He steps back in, taking a closer look, debating whether to ask if he can touch it; he comes down on the side that he'd likely just make things worse.
"That really should have worked, though I'm sure I'm not the first to have tried. Come to that, if you were injured in the Metaverse, the injury should have healed itself when you left. And it didn't?"
If Amada can do that, that just adds a new layer to the threat.
"The other Amada-san, the one that is good friends with Raven-kun, he said something about Death 'seeping into' my arm. Supposedly the easiest way to solve this problem would be to remove the arm entirely and ask Igor to regenerate it, but... Amada-san may also have a way to solve this problem himself."
He quietly sighs, gently shifting his arm into a better position. He looks up at Frog with a small smile once more.
Focusing hard, he tries an Amrita Shower, and then a Samarecarm for good measure, which unsurprisingly sputters and dies. Cybele makes thoughtful blue sounds behind him; he puts the Evoker away and dismisses her, running a hand through his hair.
"I'm glad to hear you have options, at least. I'd hate you to have a broken arm for the whole of the rest of your time here. Well," he adds, smiling faintly, "I'm sure you'd like it no more. How about that coffee?"
