... of Goro, who is scrabbling in the middle of the floor, surrounded by every item of clothing he owns. All of which are far too small now, and not made at all for somebody with an eruption of tails that seems to half-fill Leblanc's vast attic.

The claws are the least of it. He has large, mobile, soft-looking ears, and a fox face. And he's glowing. The whole attic is lit up from it, as if sunlight runs in his veins, as well as the gentle halo that shines behind his head.

"Ren," says the apparition—wow, he does look good, doesn't he? Sadly, Goro is harassed. "Help me look. What am I going to wear?"
